Carpet will be damp upon completion of the cleaning and it generally takes 4 hours for carpet fibers to rejuvenate. We recommend taking the full 4 hours before walking on the carpet; however, there are steps that the technician can take to speed up the drying process. If something is spilled on the carpet, what should I do to keep it from staining?

The most important thing here is timing. It is imperative that spills, spots and stains be taken care of immediately. Also, do not rub hard or use a brushing motion because this could fray the carpet fibers and leave a distorted appearance. Blot the spill, spot or stain with a white cloth or paper towel instead.
